Gandra is a Portuguese village in the Municipality of Valença that was the seat of the extinct Parish of Gandra, a parish that had an area of 10.64 km² and 1,318 inhabitants (2011)[1], and, therefore, a population density of 123.9 inhabitants/km².
The Parish of Gandra was extinguished in 2013, as part of a national administrative reform, having been added to the Parish of Taião to form a new parish called União das Freguesias de Gandra e Taião.[2]
