Águas Santas stands out for its rich historical, archaeological and artistic heritage. It has in its monastery one of the greatest heritage riches. Its disconcerting architecture is due to the many reforms it has undergone over time. A bronze sculpture by Soares dos Reis (1874) embellishes a grave in the local cemetery.
