O Páteo das Buganvílias, deve o seu nome às frondosas plantas existentes no espaço comum, em torno do qual coexiste um elegante edifício oitocentista, a apresentar uma planta rectangular regular com dois pisos e águas-furtadas nas coberturas, destacando-se os panos de muro totalmente cobertos com azulejos, as janelas rectilíneas com molduras de cantaria salientes e as guardas das janelas de sacada em ferraria ornamental, magnificamente reconstruído aliando a arquitectura da época e a contemporânea de um modo extremamente harmonioso.
