Cacia is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Aveiro with the northern limits of the Ria de Aveiro and the Vouga River; to the west the parish of Vera Cruz; to the south the parish of Esgueira and to the east the Vouga River and the land of Angeja, already in the municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha.
It was incorporated into the Municipality of Aveiro in 1853, when the Municipality of Esgueira, of which it was a part, was extinguished.
It includes the places of Cacia, Vilarinho, Sarrazola, Quintã do Loureiro and Póvoa do Paço and Ilha de Testada, as well as part of the navies located on the banks of the Ria.
