Praia do Vau is an ocean beach in the municipality of Portimão, Algarve, Portugal.
It has a sand sided with soft cliffs. It is a beach with tranquility, being known for its iodo and clay of the cliffs, and also for the irregular rock formations.

Skirted by soft cliffs of ochre tones, golden sands and translucent waters, Praia do Vau is the choice of families with children for easy pedestrian access and the safety with which the little ones can play here when the tide is low.

The rocky walls of this beach of Portimão very sculpted by erosion, form nooks that delight bathers.

A Amieira é um prédio rústico-urbano, constituído por dois artigos matriciais com uma área cadastral de 209,56 hectares. Da propriedade atá ás praias de Alvor e Torralta, distam cerca de 17 km e cerca de 20 Km até á cidade de Portimão. A 9 Km temos ainda o Aeródromo Municipal. A Amieira tem uma enorme potencialidade, para desenvolvimento de vários projectos turístico-imobiliários de elevada qualidade, uma vez que permite a implantação em baixa densidade.
