Classified as buildable space in the PDM (Municipal Master Plan). The Castelo de Bode dam retains water from the River Zêzere, forming a gigantic blue lake more than 60 km long. It bathes the municipalities of Abrantes, Tomar, Ferreira do Zêzere, Vila de Rei, and Sertã. It is the second largest river basin in Portugal, only surpassed by the Alqueva dam reservoir in Alentejo.

It is now possible to enjoy the river beaches for swimming and water sports. Here we find the perfect conditions for rowing, SUP, sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing, sport fishing, and wakeboarding. There are countless viewpoints and trails to enjoy the landscapes of this immense blue lake.
