This land is located in the Algarve Barrocal in the municipality of Albufeira. It has a small slope to the south and the rest is practically flat. This land is called a vegetable garden since it was formerly cultivated with vegetables and other aromatic herbs. This cultivation was facilitated by the existing well that still exists in the place.

The area is essentially countryside with a few scattered homes. The resident population is a mix of retired foreigners, with local Portuguese, who are mostly of some age. The surrounding houses are typical of simple architecture from the thirties and forties, maintaining a familiar and pleasant atmosphere. Privacy is a feature of these houses with plenty of space between rooms.

This place is like many others that we can find outside the urban areas of small towns in the Algarve. The types of local trees such as carob, almond, fig and almond are the most popular species and simultaneously an economic source in the region.
