Due to the factor of an emergence in a very troubled time, Neoclassicism in Portugal develops in its own way, struggling with problems of an artistic and economic order, imposing a periodization different from the rest of Europe. Very central area, inserted in one of the historic districts of Lisbon, very well integrated in terms of the existence of trade, services, transport and accessibility to various parts of the city. It is also a privileged area from the standpoint of public spaces, getting very close to the Garden of Flowers and the Garden of Royal Prince equipped with playground and outdoor cafes, theaters and universities. There is also good road links, being served by the metro station and with easy access to the city’s exits to south and Cascais.
